Alife.

The flagship Alife store in Tokyo is on a cut street in the heart of Harajuku. The store is very simplistic in design with sleek hardwood floors and black accents. [They were actin' real funny about pictures being taken of the store.] SOURCE

Blue Label.

So, apparently Japan has is very own exclusive Burberry line, Burberry Blue Label. Blue Label was created solely for the Japanese market, and it is only sold in retail stores in Japan. This explains why every single girl have a Burberry scarf.

Uniqlo.

Uniqlo, once "Unique Clothing", is a cross between American Apparel and H&M with more of an American Apparel style at a H&M cost. Some may be familiar with the Soho, NY store, the only one in the entire US. Is there an online store you ask? Yes, but its only for Japan, the origin.

For a quick meal that feels you up, its definetly Sukiya. They have an extensive menu of different types of bowls with prety good portion sizes that is ready in 5min or less and usually cost around $5. Their slogan is "Save time and money"My favorites are the taco mega bowl or the cheesy beef bowl. Mmmm....

Tokyo "IT" Bag.

Last summer before coming to Tokyo I went to Louis Vuitton with my sister for her to purchase a "Neverfull" bag by LV. I didn't think the bag was so hot but obviously I was wrong. From Shibuya to Roppongi, Ginza to Shinjuku, everywhere I turn there is a Louis Vuitton "Never Full", therefore it is IT. Apparently the bag can withstand up to 231lbs as if a woman would ever have to carry that much in her purse. The bag retails for $750, $700 & $650 respectively.

Outbreak 2009.

When I first deplaned @ Narita Airport, I was a bit on edge because I saw numerous people wearing face masks. I automatically and ignorantly thought that they had a strain of the bird flu. The masks where everywhere. On moms in the mall, kids on the subway the woman in Gucci. After asking my dorm manager, who knows everything about anything, Aki, he said that the reason they wear the mask is most likely that they have the common cold and don't want it to spread to those who are around them. How polite is that?

TUJ.

Today is the 1st day of school and I'm so excited. I am taking classes in TV production, Cybermedia, Internet Imaging and Macro, ugh. The school is not too far from Roppongi, and its upscale shopping center Roppongi Hills.
