@ 6:24p.
Yesterday I went back to Ueno with a couple of friends from Ontakesan. We had fun, ate and did karaoke. We discussed our plans for a trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam. I must admit that I miss home, but I really am having fun here in Tokyo. I'm so glad that I chose to have this experience that some people would never fathom of doing. I still have some places that I need to go and things I need to see before I go. I MUST go to Mt. Fuji and Disneyland. I also still want to go to a Sumo wrestling match and the fish market. I promise myself that I will do all this, so til next time...Bai bai.

Hachikō.
Hachikō is a dog who waited for his owner to come from work at the Shibuya Station everyday. One day his owner had a stroke at work and never returned. Hachiko waited at the train station everyday, at the precise time his owner was to return, for 10 years. (Full Story)

Everyone who wants to meet in Shubuya will usually meet at Hachiko Statue and everybody takes pictures with the statue. Look!

Spring Equinox.

Today is Spring Equinox Day her in Tokyo. This national holiday was established in 1948 as a day for the admiration of nature and the love of living things. Prior to 1948, the vernal equinox was an imperial ancestor worship festival called Shunki kōrei-sai.NO SCHOOL.
Go DJ.
Me, DJ Flourish OTC, LuLu, DJ Cap69
Last night I had chance to assist with a film documentary by Danielle about DJ Flourish OTC, a DJ from Tokyo. We filmed them on location at Shibuya FM 78.4. I was 1st AD. Afterwards we later met for filming with numerous DJs and promotors where we were granted access to some of the best clubs in Tokyo. The night was work, but in all, a great experience. Women Only.
During peak rush hours during the weekdays some Tokyo train lines have "Women Only" cars that is usually at the end of the train. The reason for this is that during rush hours that women were being groped on the train. So this is the solution.

Keep Out.

I just received an email form the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo advising all Americans to keep out of bars and clubs in Roppongi, a major nightlife area for gajin (foreigners) here in Tokyo. WHY? Because apparently the I had a drink and woke up with my wallet gone and credit card maxed has reached levels out of the norm. Full Story I still like its a cool place, but you should always be cautious whether in the states or abroad.

White Day.

Today in Tokyo is White Day, the inverse to Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day, un like the US, the gift giving is only from the woman, usually chocolates, so of course one month to the day is when their male counterparts shower them with gifts of diamonds, gold and platinum. HAPPY WHITE DAY!!

Chicken N Beer.
I love fried chicken. There a numerous KFC's here in Tokyo. When I stepped in one particular KFC in Akihabara I took a look at the menu and saw something a lil different than back home in the states. BEER! You can order a glass of beer with your meal for the menial price of 800 yen=$8.05.

Also if you happen to get the urge for a 2pc and a biscuit while your sitting at home watching Jero in concert, don't fret, KFC also delivers via motor scooter and of course bike.

Ueno=Canal St.
Today I took a trip on the Khein-Tokyo Line to the Ueno station. At first arrival I automatically thought of Canal St. in NY. Every which way you turned were vendors and store fronts filled with everything imaginable, even octopus tentacles. The area has a plethora of sneaker and clothing stores. They also have enough replica clothing and designer handbags for those who like to front while you flaunt.

Old VS New.
Here in Tokyo the restrooms are different than back home. For the most part when I go to a restaurant or club I usually find an modern facility, but every now and then I run into the traditional Japanese washroom. At school these are the choices we have.
Here we have the everyday Japanese toilet. In so many words..Squat!

This is the TOILET9000..lol..This toilet comes with heated seat, deodorizer with adjustable settings and a washing cycle at the end of your journey per your request.

Happy Flushing!
